Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a visitor enters a name, case number, or other text into a search tool, the input is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its result. Crisp County Court Docket does not store or log the text of searches on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends a message through an available contact channel, the message and the reply may be retained for that exchange. It is not shared outside the operating team unless disclosure is required by law, court order, or a service needed to transmit the message.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, ordinary technical information may be recorded by the site or its service providers:
- The IP address assigned to the device
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time on a page
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- Page-view timestamps
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Analytics services may use them to measure traffic, page use, and broad navigation patterns. Browser controls can block or clear cookies, although some site functions may respond differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
- Keep the resource operating and improve load performance
- Send a search request to the partner selected for that tool
- Measure which pages are useful and where content needs work
- Find and repair technical faults
- Display advertising or sponsored content that may be relevant to a visit
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Crisp County dockets or personal case files. It publishes general routing information about the Clerk, trial courts, municipal offices, state providers, and federal systems that may hold a record. Nothing collected about a visitor is assembled into a consumer report or a profile of a third party.
The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. §§50-18-70 through 50-18-75, applies to public records held by covered public custodians, not to a private reference resource. Requests for a Crisp court record must go to the court or clerk that maintains it.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes may be supplied by outside companies. Text entered into those controls is handled under the partner’s privacy notice and terms. The partner decides how long it keeps data, how it shares data, what it charges, and what result it returns. Review that provider information before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
The resource links to Crisp County offices, Georgia courts, clerks, municipal portals, PACER, and other official or outside services. Opening an external link moves the visitor under that operator’s privacy policy. Read the destination’s terms before submitting personal information.
Advertising or analytics providers may use their own systems to measure activity across sites. Those practices are controlled by the outside provider, not by this policy.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by the operator. Depending on how a visitor uses the resource, information may be received by:
- A search partner handling a query
- Analytics services measuring traffic and performance
- Ad networks placing sponsored material
- Law enforcement or a government body when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable standard security practices are used for information under the operator’s control. No internet-connected service can promise perfect security. The operator works to protect data but cannot guarantee that a breach, outage, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor’s personal information is believed to have been sent through an available channel, the operator will take reasonable steps to address the request and remove it when appropriate.
Your Data Rights
Rights vary by the visitor’s location and the kind of information involved. The Georgia Open Records Act governs requests to covered public custodians for public records, not a private operator’s general visitor data. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Ask what personal information is held about the visitor
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Ask for deletion where a lawful deletion right applies
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where that right exists
A request should identify the information and the channel through which it was provided. A provider that receives a search query may need to answer the request under its own policy.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as the resource, services, or legal requirements change. The current version is posted here with its effective date. Visitors who continue to use the resource after an update accept the revised text.
